I read the first three chapters of the kite runner by Khaled Hosseini,I usually read the fault in our stars by John Green but I guess Monday was the day I had to meet Khaled Hosseini.
while reading, that quote catch my attention,the logic "Baba" used to explain the quote was very interesting and made me question myself about it.
It really hard for a kid to understand the adult's way of thinking,and Baba tried his best to explain his morale to his son Amir.
This quote is truly striking to me, too. Theft is not just taking away something that does not belong to you, but can mean more like telling a lie in the quote. For another example, when killing a person, the killer steals the victim's life or the right to live; when committing adultery, the sinners steal their purity... The list can go on and on.

ReplyDeleteThe quote is really hard to understand fore a child.This father gave a strong image for his son to tell him how the lie is bad thing to do. I agree with you , It's a striking quote.
