Hello everyone,
my name is Laurene , and am very happy to be in this class. this is my first time to have a blog, and I hope it will be an interesting experience and that it will help us getting to know each other more....even though we spend 5days in a week together in the same class.....

I was born and raised in Rwanda, and have lived there for half of my life now, its a small country in middle east Africa.
I love spending my time reading, travelling, watching movies or TV shows (e.g.: vampire diaries...lol), swimming and spending time with my family and friends.

This summer, my brothers and I together with our mum, went to Tanzania, a neighbor country to Rwanda, and it was a unforgettable trip with a lot of unexpected  things happening to us....but we had fun...at least now we can say we know what a Safari means really....

I came to state college on new years'  for the IECP Program, and so far  I am enjoying with my friend Nouf which I have to tell you ( she is crazy..but I love her...), I am planning to do a bachelor in business at the Smeal College of Business here at Penn State and I hope I will get in by this summer.

I was very surprised to see such diversity in the IECP program but was very happy cause now I know a lot of people from different countries and its always amazing when you get to learn differences in cultures....

I wish you all an amazing semester and mostly success in it.
